100 goals is an amazing achievement and something that Nick should be very proud of. Equally impressive is the amount of assists he has also provided. If you also take into account his enviable haul of Man of the Match awards then it all adds up to one hell of a player.
Nick combines pace and skill with an excellent football brain. Three qualities that most players will possess one of, two if they're lucky, but qualities that make him effective in a number of positions.
Personally, as a midfielder myself, Nick is a dream to play with. Great movement, pace that makes a bad pass good, an excellent first touch and unselfish nature are just a few of the reasons why. He is also a bloody nice bloke. Admittedly quiet but there is definitely an underlying tenacity that is evident in his play. When games get tough Nick doesn't shirk his responsibility or hideaway and will more often than not grab a vital goal.
Congratulations Nick! I'm sure there will be many more goals to come.
