Ash Symonds becomes the first player to play 50 times for the Reserve Team. He was named as captain for his 50th game that came against Ipswich Rangers.
He joined the club as part of the newly established Reserve side in 2013 and has been a perminent fixture since. He scored his first goal for the club to take a cup game into extra time in only his fourth match.
Ash finds himself utilised all over the park, having now played in every position, with the exception of goalkeeper. He has started 27 of his 50 games and has a decent record when he does, winning 32% more often than when he starts as substitute, in fact the Reserves secure a positive result (win/draw) 80% more regularly.
